Privacy Policy

Account & profile: if you create a Du Health account, we store your email, display name, and basic goal settings (e.g. target weight, activity level). Accounts are optional — both apps work fully signed-out with local storage and iCloud.

App data you create: workouts, sets, meals, foods, weight entries, notes, and preferences. This data is yours; you can export or delete it at any time.

Purchases: subscription status is verified through Apple's App Store. We do not receive your payment information.

When you grant permission, Du Fitness and Du Nutrition read and write to Apple HealthKit (workouts, energy, heart rate, body weight, macronutrients). HealthKit data stays on your device and in your private iCloud, encrypted end-to-end by Apple. We do not upload HealthKit data to our servers.

We never sell health data, never share it with advertisers, and never use it to train third-party models.

We use your data to operate the apps: log workouts, compute macros and rings, sync between devices, generate coaching suggestions, and provide support when you ask. We do not build advertising profiles.

Du Fitness and Du Nutrition sync your data through your private iCloud container using CloudKit. Sync is scoped to your Apple ID; Du Health cannot read the contents of your private iCloud.

We use privacy-preserving, aggregated analytics to understand crashes and broad usage patterns (for example, "workout started" or "screen viewed"). These events do not include your health data, meal contents, or personal identifiers beyond a random installation ID that resets when you reinstall.

We use a small number of vendors to operate the service — for example, Apple (App Store, HealthKit, CloudKit), a crash reporting provider, and an email support provider. Any AI features that send data to a model provider do so only for the specific request and are not retained for training.

We keep account and app data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your data from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (for example, tax records of purchases).

You can export your data as CSV from inside each app at any time. You can delete individual entries, or your entire account, from Settings. To make a formal request (access, correction, deletion, portability), email [email protected].

Du Fitness and Du Nutrition are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

We may update this policy as the apps evolve. Material changes will be highlighted in-app; the "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
